When it comes to ingredients that can help lift your mood, you need foods that contain lots of tryptophan, a precursor to Serotonin, AKA the neurotransmitter responsible for boosting your mood. As well as tryptophan, you also want to include fruits that contain plenty of VItamin B, especially those that contain Folate. These are vitally important for helping you produce the neurotransmitters responsible for improving your mood. By adding a sprinkle of Cinnamon you can also help balance out your blood sugar levels. With the addition of pineapple, you also lower inflammation levels, which can have a hugely positive effect on improving your mood.

  • 1tbsp oats
  • 1tsp coconut oil
